14-Day Ultimate Morocco Grand Tour: Tangier to Essaouira

Tour Overview
This is our most complete Morocco itinerary, designed for travelers who want to see the countryβs full range in a single trip rather than piecing together separate regional tours. Starting at the Strait of Gibraltar in Tangier and finishing on the Atlantic coast in Essaouira, the 14-day route moves through every major landscape and era of Moroccan history without ever feeling rushed.
Along the way youβll cross the green Rif Mountains to the blue city of Chefchaouen, spend real time in two of the four imperial cities (Fes and Marrakech, with stops in Meknes and Volubilis), sleep a night under the stars in the Sahara at Merzouga, and wind down with a few relaxed days by the sea. Itβs the tour we recommend most often to first-time visitors who only plan to come to Morocco once.
