For travelers who want to see the best of Morocco without arranging separate flights in and out of different cities, this 13-day loop starts and ends in Casablanca, home to the country’s main international airport. It’s our most practical grand tour for anyone booking a single round-trip flight.
The route covers the same essential ground as our other long tours, imperial cities, the Sahara, and the Atlantic coast, but is structured as a complete circle: north to Rabat and Fes, south through the desert and the High Atlas to Marrakech, then back along the coast via Essaouira to Casablanca. You finish exactly where you started, bags packed and ready for your flight home.

Arrival in Casablanca
Arrive at Mohammed V International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Casablanca. Evening at leisure, with an optional stroll along the Corniche seafront.
Casablanca to Rabat
Morning guided tour of the Hassan II Mosque, followed by the Art Deco downtown and Habous Quarter. Drive north to Rabat in the afternoon for a first look at the Hassan Tower and Kasbah des Oudayas.
Rabat to Fes via Meknes & Volubilis
Continue your tour of Rabat's Chellah necropolis before heading east to Meknes to see the Bab Mansour gate, then the Roman ruins of Volubilis, arriving in Fes by evening.
Guided Tour of Fes
A full day inside Fes el Bali with a local guide, covering the Chouara Tannery, the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah), with free time in the souks.
Fes to Merzouga via the Middle Atlas
